Rave Computer Association, Inc., charter corporate partner of the new
Macomb-Oakland University Incubator

Rochester Hills, Michigan, December 9, 2008 - Rave Computer Association, Inc., a supplier and integrator of servers and mobile computers to the U.S. Military, OEMs, and Independent Software Vendors, is headquartered in Sterling Heights and has signed on as the Macomb-Oakland University Incubator's first corporate partner.

The Macomb-OU Incubator Corporate Partners Program is a public-private sector business alliance between the incubator and experienced, pre-qualified business services firms, whereby corporate partners commit to provide financial support, volunteers to client companies and Kitchen Cabinet Advisory Boards, and, in some cases, discounted professional services.

"This partnership will be a win-win opportunity," said Rave President and CEO Rick Darter. "Rave has the technology, insight and experience to share from a small business perspective that may be useful to the members."

As the first corporate partner of Macomb-OU INC, Rave has committed to a platinum level sponsorship of $10,000 and will, in return, have the opportunity to provide mentoring and coaching support to client companies.

"The business relationships formed between new and established companies are unique in that new businesses develop a stronger foundation early on and corporate partners are able to play a role in local economic growth by encouraging entrepreneurial efforts," said Dr. David Spencer, executive director of the Oakland University Incubator.

With 20 years in the industry, Rave brings knowledge and experience in addition to services that client companies may be in need of.

"Every community deserves to have a Rave Computer," said Luke Bonner, economic development manager for the city of Sterling Heights. "CEO Rick Darter has a tremendous vision for his company which includes being a model corporate citizen. Rave's contribution and role with the incubator program is sincerely appreciated."

The partnership between Rave and the Macomb-OU Incubator was finalized Sept. 25, 2008.

"Through this partnership, we hope that we can work alongside our local government, technology businesses and organizations to continue to promote innovative technological solutions that will drive more business development to local Michigan companies who have the experience and knowledge in our industry to succeed," Darter said.

Located on 15 Mile Road, the Macomb-OU Incubator officially opened for business Sept. 30 and represents a partnership that includes Macomb County, the city of Sterling Heights and Oakland University.
