When does my Varjo Subscription expire?

Can I still use my headset with an expired subscription?

No.

What happens when my Varjo Subscription expires?

To use Varjo VR-3 and XR-3 headsets and software, you need an accompanying Varjo Subscription – your continuous license for Varjo software and business services. Through the Varjo Subscription, you get access to Varjo’s proprietary XR/VR software which continuously unlocks new capabilities for Varjo’s headsets. When your Varjo Subscription expires, you will no longer be able to use your headset or access Varjo Base, the software used to control your headset.

What are the benefits of upgrading to an offline license?

Varjo offers an offline version of both the XR and the VR Subscriptions. It’s a one-time transaction with no annual renewal fees, and the internet is no longer required for the headset to operate. 

To upgrade to the offline license, the one-time fee is usually $4,495 MSRP. However, current RAVE Computer customers with an existing one year subscription will receive a credit toward the purchase of the offline license. That brings down your total cost of upgrading to the offline license to just $2,750. That means you no longer need to renew your subscription annually to operate the headset! 

Can I align renewal start dates for multiple HMDs?

What happens if I let my subscription lapse?

If your Varjo Subscription lapses, your headset will stops working. You can renew later at the full rate without the RAVE promotional discount.

Is there a grace period to renew my Varjo Subscription?

Varjo does not offer a grace period for subscription renewals.

What is the deadline to extend or upgrade my Varjo Subscription in order to receive RAVE’s promotional discount?

All orders to extend or upgrade your Varjo Subscription must be placed with RAVE by April 30, 2022 to receive the RAVE promotional discount.
